WizeBA Inc. is an operational consulting firm headquartered in Montréal, Québec, Canada. We work with growing SMEs to structure their operations, enabling execution and deploying AI as leverage for sustainable growth.

This Privacy Policy explains how WizeBA Inc. (“WizeBA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles personal information collected through our website, our services, and any direct communication with our team.

For the purposes of Québec Law 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector), WizeBA Inc. acts as the enterprise responsible for the protection of personal information.

We collect personal information in the following ways:

Information you provide directly

  • Name and contact details when you fill out a form or book a call
  • Business information shared during a discovery conversation or intake process
  • Email address when subscribing to our newsletter or content updates
  • Messages and content submitted through our contact form

Information collected automatically

  • Browser type, device, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and navigation path on our website
  • IP address and approximate geographic region (country/province level)
  • Referring URLs and search queries that led you to our site

Information from third parties

We may receive basic professional information (such as your role or company) from LinkedIn or partner referrals when someone introduces you to our services.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details directly. All transactions are processed through secure third-party processors. We do not purchase marketing lists or collect information about minors.

How we use your information

WizeBA uses personal information for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: To onboard clients, deliver consulting engagements, and communicate about project milestones
  • Business operations: Invoicing, contracts, scheduling, and internal record-keeping
  • Content and communications: Sending newsletters, updates, and resources you have opted into
  • Website improvement: Analyzing traffic patterns to improve the experience for all visitors
  • Legal compliance: Meeting obligations under Québec Law 25, PIPEDA, and applicable tax laws

We do not use your personal information to build advertising profiles, sell to third parties, or train AI models without your explicit, separate consent.

Sharing and disclosure

WizeBA does not sell personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We work with a small number of trusted vendors to operate our business: email delivery, CRM, scheduling, video conferencing, and file storage. Each vendor is bound by data processing agreements and is selected for their privacy posture.

Professional partners

With your knowledge and consent, we may share relevant context with partner specialists (such as EOS implementers, coaches, or marketing strategists) when facilitating an introduction or referral.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when necessary to protect the safety of any person.

CROSS-BORDER TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers are headquartered outside Québec and Canada. Where this occurs, we ensure adequate contractual protections are in place consistent with Law 25 requirements for cross-border transfers.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

QUÉBEC RESIDENTS — LAW 25

Under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), you have additional rights including the right to be informed of any automated decision-making that produces legal or significant effects, and the right to request de-indexation of certain information. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer.

Security

In the event of a privacy incident that poses a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec and affected individuals as required by law, within the required timeframes.

No transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have concerns about the sensitivity of information you are sharing with us, please contact us and we will find an appropriate channel.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
  • Post a notice on our website homepage for 30 days
  • Notify active clients by email if the changes affect how we handle their information

Your continued use of our website or services after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
